Successful Plant & Garden Exchange in June!
Successful Plant & Garden Exchange!
The second annual TTCA/TTV plant exchange was held on June 7th. We welcomed green thumbs and those who weren't sure. In spite of the threatening weather, we managed to enjoy the day. It only rained for about 15 minutes, and we just put up the umbrellas and continued our conversations! People came and went, brought plants, and took plants. Hostas were a big pleaser, hellebores, ferns, small trees, iris, coleus, evergreens, wood poppies, and more. While browsing around, we also shared gardening tips, how to really deter deer and rabbits, where to buy plants, etc. Robyn De Shields contributed several excellent new books by P. Allen Smith, garden designer and conservationist, which were greatly appreciated. There were also pretty pots, baskets for hanging, and garden supply-style pots available.
Save the Date for next year: First Saturday in June, 2026.
We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
