                                        October 7, 2025, Meeting Minutes
Mission
The purpose of TTCA is to consider and deal by all lawful means with common problems involving
the Tamarack Triangle area bounded by East Randolph Road, Fairland Road, and Paint Branch Park
in Silver Spring, Maryland; to include the general welfare, education, health, transportation and
other related matters to secure cooperative action in advancing common purposes of the members
of the Corporation.

Call To Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm
Welcome and Introductions
This meeting was an opportunity for community members to learn about risk reduction in their
homes and in the Tamarack Community. By prevention and education communities improve their
resilience. Participants were encouraged to develop a five-step plan for fire safety: Escape plan,
Compartmentalization, Rapid Notification. Members were reminded to handle batteries safety and
recycle them to prevent fires. Any community member can call 311 to request a home safety check.

Review and Approve Meeting Agenda
Today’s meeting agenda was reviewed without discussion.
Meeting Agenda Items
1. A report was offered from the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, and The
Tamarack Triangle Village.
2. The calendar of upcoming events was presented.
