About Living-in-Place

Living-in-Place is the concept of connecting, informing and supporting community members who choose to stay in their homes for the foreseeable future.

To learn more about the "Villages" concept, visit this page offered by Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services:  What is a Village?

"Villages" are local, volunteer-led, grassroots organizations that aim to support community members who choose to age-in-place. They foster social connections through activities and events and coordinate volunteer help at home using a neighbor-helping-neighbor model .

Seniors, are you interested in investigating the creation of a "Village" type movement here in our Tamarack Triangle community? Send a message to Joan Novell at aerie1@verizon.net.
